We'll guide you each step of the way while you have fun decorating these cheesy-shaped treats. Whether you're spoiling your own pup or gifting to a furry friend, this class is a great way to bond, be creative, and celebrate the love of dogs!! Did we mention your treat pack will also come with a customized treat and a locally crafted Bark-cuterie Board?!

About Chubby Pug Cheese

Chubby Pug Cheese is a licensed micro-BARK-ery in Ankeny that is creating hand-crafted, limited ingredient dog treats and cakes. Each recipe is registered with the Iowa Department of Agriculture and nutritionally tested through Eurofins in Des Moines. We like to say, we make Cheesy Shapes with Wiggle Butt Worthy Designs. 

Kate lives in Ankeny, IA with her husband, Jeff. They both have been in the culinary world for over 15 years. Kate put her pastry skills to the test to develop these treats. Layla Jane Pug (2008-2023) is the reason we started Chubby Pug Cheese! As she began getting older everything got a little bit harder. Pug was having some digestive issues and some of the treats were just too hard for her to crunch. So, we set out to develop a basic biscuit that was softer and Pug could still enjoy. Once we finalized the base treat, we went on to develop a pup-royal icing, allowing us to create decorated treats we can share with our best furriends.
