Event description

Bark After Dark, 18+ play party & mosh

Bark After Dark is for playful pets with space for relax or have fun. Featuring play equipment from Hanky, food and drink, and a mosh space for intimate fun. Come enjoy the upbeat and relaxed atmosphere as you get to know others in the pet play community. All genders are welcome. So strip down to your favourite gear and come bring out your wild side with VicPAH at Bark After Dark.

 

The Space:

Come wrestle other pets and pup out in our mosh space, be as sexual as your little pet brain desires. Included will be a mosh and play area with wrestling mats, pet cages, dog toys and a ball pit so you can get your growl on. 

For all the chill kitties, lap dogs and lounge lizards we have a quiet area with couches where you can relax. This space will be designated as our low sensory chill area.

We will also be featuring dark rooms and play equipment from Hanky including:

  • Slings

  • Benches

  • Cages

  • Ball pit

  • Wrestling mats


This is a no drugs event, We also do not tolerate any form of homophobic, transphobic, racist or misogynist behaviour at our event. Anyone who expresses this behaviour will be asked to leave.

Cloak will be provided at the venue with no extra cost.

Wheel chair accessible and hosted at  5-7 Louvain St, Coburg North VIC 3058

-7 minutes walk to  Batman Train Station

-7minutes walk to No. 19 Tram on Sydney Road


Dress Code:

Strip down to your jocks and wear your sexiest outfit! This event is focused on pet play but is inclusive to all gender and self expression. You are allowed to wear; Hoods, belt & insertable tails, kitty gear, pony gear, plain black clothes, harnesses, leather, rubber, neoprene, drag and anything you’d like! You can even come nude.

We also ask if you see someone wearing an insertable tail, to not touch them without their consent and be mindful of their play.

 

Venue Rules:

  • There is no smoking within the venue. Smokers can use the outside areas while being mindful of all participants.

  • Play is only permitted in the designated play areas. Either in the cages or at the equipment provided. We request that attendees not play in the social area unmatted or bar area.

  • We ask that you take care with the play equipment, and leave it as you found it. Clean up after yourself and respect the equipment. 

  • No sharps, needles or blood play

  • Anyone seen to be misusing equipment will be asked to stop and may be removed from the event if their behaviour continues.

At Bark After Dark:

  • Affirmative consent is mandatory 

  • A person’s outfit does not give consent

  • Always ask before touching someone or their belongings

  • Consent needs to be explicit, informed, and voluntary

  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time

  • Be aware of risks and take personal responsibility for your actions

  • VIcPAH reserves the right to deny you entry or remove you from the event if it is reported that you have engaged in any type of coercive, harassing, or disrespectful behaviour or violated consent. This will also result in you being banned from future events.

Dungeon monitors will be present on the floor to answer queries if needed.

 

Photography

No unauthorised Videos or Photography.

VicPAH will be providing a photographer. Please feel free to ask for your image to be taken or decline being photographed at any time. If at any time an image of yourself is posted to social media and you would like to be removed you may ask at any time.

By taking part in this event you grant the event organisers full rights to use the images resulting from the photography or video/audio recording.

Any reproductions or adaptations of the images may be used for fundraising, publicity or other purposes to help achieve the group’s aims. 

This includes, but is not limited to, the right to use media in their printed and online publicity, social media, press releases, and funding applications. 

If you do not wish to be photographed, please inform an event organiser or the photographer. No other videos or photography is permitted.

Liability and Waiver

By purchasing a ticket, you are agreeing that you are fully aware of all risks associated with participation in this event and agree that any activities participated in by you whilst at the event will be fully consented to by you and all parties prior to engaging in those activities.

You agree to abide by VicPAH's  policies including our photo policy and code of conduct available at https://vicpah.org.au/policy/

You agree that you are attending the event of your own free will  and are aware of any  risks that may result from your own participation in the event.

You thereby agree to fully indemnify the venue and event hosts for any and all harm arising from attending the event and participating in any activities at the event.

You acknowledge  and that any activities you engage in through the event are at your own risk, and that the venue and event hosts cannot be held liable in any way for any illness or injury incurred whilst attending the event.

You acknowledge the risks associated with a sexual event and the consumption of any alcohol  including any possible interactions with  prescribed medications that you may have taken and take full responsibility for any injury, damage or loss associated with their consumption.

You acknowledge and confirm that you have read this Waiver and Liability Release and assume the risk agreement and fully understand the terms.
