Event description

Knotless Netting Workshop

Knotless netting using simple looping techniques is probably among the  earliest  techniques used by mankind for garment making.

In this string making workshop, using  garden leaves which have already been foraged for your use, we will make knotless netting into a small bag or decorative container. The techniques learned form the basis of fabric making.

All of that is a fancy way of saying, that basically, we’re going to have a fabulous day playing with leaves whilst enjoying good company.

The day runs from 10 am till 4 pm, giving plenty of time to create to your hearts content, with time for lunch and a walk and talk in Sophie's garden.

Numbers are limited so get in early.

Covid 19

We are continually monitoring the Covid 19 pandemic situation and the governments health advice closely and will follow all directions.

Please do not attend the workshop if you have Covid 19 symptoms or have been in contact with anyone with Covid 19.  We will refund your ticket.

At this stage we expect to be able to run this event, however if this changes we will of course refund your tickets.
