Time: 9.00am–6.00pm each day
Venue: Bishop Hall, Elder Hall Building
Registration: Free, but registration is essential.
Join the Elder Conservatorium's double bass staff for an incredibly intensive three-day experience, filled with warm-ups, technique classes, scale classes, studies classes, excerpts and repertoire classes, solo masterclasses, ensemble playing, and concluding with a final public concert!
Aimed at senior students and young professionals looking for a boost and a chance to refocus.
Typical Daily Schedule
9.00–10.00am: Individual practice
10.00–10.45am: Group warm-ups and scales
10.45–11.15am: Studies 2/Technique class
11.30am–12.30pm: Excerpts - Mozart 40, Beethoven recit, Mahler 1
12.30pm–1.30pm: Lunch break
1.30–2.30pm: Ensemble rehearsal
2.45–3.45pm: Repertoire class
4.00–6.00pm: Masterclass
