BASTARD-CON 2

BastardCon returns this July in its new hub at Hybrid Warehouse in central Fremantle.

Focusing on board games and wargames with high levels of player interaction — from negotiations and auctions, to betrayal and sheer skulduggery — we want someone at every table to growl, “You bastard,” at least once in every game.

In all seriousness, the goal is to bring gamers from communities all over Perth into a common space and make this a semi-regular event.

The games themselves are not prescribed. Come and play whatever game you want to bring, or just rock up, meet some great new people, and try something new.

If you’re an MTG, Warhammer, or TTRPG player and would like to explore the board game space (there are some absolute bangers out there), then come and move some cardboard with us — or just bring your crew and set up your own game table for the day. All are welcome. 

Because it’s the people, not the game, that matters.

Members of the WA Game Foundry game design group will also be there, running playtests of some of their prototypes throughout the day, and they’d love your feedback.

Hybrid Warehouse runs a licensed bar until late and offers delicious wood-fired pizzas throughout the day. 

Tickets are $15, presale only, and include a free drink (alcohol, coffee, soft drinks, etc.).
