Come learn and experience the therapeutic principles and practices embedded in Explore Youth and Family Therapy (YaFT) Inc. Bush Adventure Therapy (BAT) practice. This session is designed for those working in or interested in working in outdoor therapy, who want to explore therapeutic approaches and engage in experiential learning.

Presented by Robert Coller, CEO and founder of Explore YaFT Inc. Robert is a family therapist with over 40 years of experience working with youth, Robert includes narrative and bush adventure therapy in his practice and currently holds a position as a senior clinician at Berry Street's Take Two program. Robert is passionate about creating temporary therapeutic communities, through the use of trauma informed, relational and invitational approaches while in partnership with country.
 
This workshop is a full day experience which explores the hows and whys of creating those temporary therapeutic communities and includes discussions, learning and opportunities to play! 

Explore YaFT Inc. programs are supported by hardworking volunteers; you will get the opportunity to meet some of these volunteers and will be invited to sail on the lake with their support. 

Please note the session will go ahead in most weather conditions including rain, you are encouraged to wear weather-appropriate clothing and have a change of clothes if you intend on sailing as you might get wet.

Please BYO lunch and snacks for the day, tea and coffee will be provided, if you would like to take part in the tea and coffee please bring a cup.

One week before the session you will receive an email telling you about the clothing and safety equipment Explore YaFT Inc. offers to enable your participation and comfort in the session. Keep an eye out for this.

There is a maximum of 12 participants in the session.

All money raised goes to Explore YaFT Inc. to support their programs with young people.
