Tim spent most of his career so far as a network engineer and site reliability engineer, helping to keep Google systems up and running for 14 years among other things. He got hooked on electric vehicles during a work trip to the US in 2014, where he saw a glimpse of the future while driving a Tesla Model S. After leaving Google a few years ago, Tim has worked for Polestar Australia and now writes for the EV focused The Driven website where he enjoys sharing his knowledge and experience with others.
