It’s time to get the adventuring party together because for one night only we’re bringing sword and sorcery to the heart of Wollongong. Come and watch some incredible acts of local talent battle it out the only way that bards know how…in style!

THEME
Battle of the Bards is the first of its kind - a *high-fantasy, high-stakes talent competition and fundraising event all wrapped into a magical evening of comedy, music and mayhem. Acts to be announced on our Facebook and Instagram (@battleofthebardswollongong) very soon.
*Think Dungeons & Dragons, Lord of the Rings, A Court of Thorn and Roses for inspiration.
COSTUME COMPETITION
Calling all cosplayers and renaissance fair fans! Best Dressed for the evening will be awarded a little something extra to say thank you for joining in on the fun. Bust out your corsets, cloaks and anything in between for a chance to win.
SIDE QUESTS
In the spirit of the game we’ll have unique easter-egg games hidden in the theater for you and your friends to enjoy. Keep an eye out for cursed items, suspicious NPC’s and much more to be discovered.
RAFFLE
Tickets will be available at the door to win a mystery prize which will be announced closer to the event date.
BAR
The bar will be open! Both alcoholic and non-alcoholic options available.
Strobe lighting effects may be used during this performance. Patrons that may suffer from epilepsy and other visual light stimulation effects are advised to contact the front of house staff upon arrival to the venue.
Performance themes may include mild course language and theatrical violence. Battle of the Bards is an all ages event subject to parental discretion.
