Batty for bats! Night stalk and habitat building workshop
Event description
Join us for a hands-on, family-friendly afternoon and evening! Help us build bat boxes to be installed along the Collie river and learn all about our fascinating flying mammals!
Bat Box Building Workshop (3.00pm)
Learn from Joe Tonga of Natsync Environmental as he guides you through building a bat roosting box. Tools and materials are provided—just bring yourself, some enthusiasm, and enclosed shoes!
Supper Included (5.30pm) - light supper provided before we head out into the night.
Night Walk (approx. 6.30pm)
Experience Collie’s evening bushland inhabitants with expert guidance. Spotlight local wildlife, learn about the important role bats play in our ecosystems, and enjoy the adventure.
Single tickets ($10/each) and Group Tickets ($20/each) available! Spaces are limited, so please let us know if you can no longer attend for any reason, for a refund of your ticket and to open your spot to someone on the waitlist.
