Event description

You’re invited to join educational leaders, peers and special guest Shadow Minister for Health, The Hon. Chris Bowen for an interactive and engaging session as we explore new ways to promote positive mental health conversations in tertiary institutions now and in a post-COVID-19 world.

The mental health of young people and Australian educators needs to be supported now, more than ever.

What’s involved?

  • Hear from a young person about their story of hope, courage and resilience

  • Participate in a live Q&A with a panel of mental health experts and education leaders including: Executive Director of Orygen, Professor Patrick D. McGorry, Director of the Student Engagement Unit at UniSA, Brendan Hughes, Experienced Senior Tertiary Education Leader, Laura-Anne Bull and batyr Speaker Ally

  • Experience first hand how batyr’s new digital peer-to-peer offering works

  • Connect and learn from peers about challenges and practical solutions

Wherever you are, you're welcome to join us for this jam-packed and interactive live streamed session in partnership with the International Convention Centre
