Description

As the study period ramps up, it’s normal to feel the pressure. But you don’t have to navigate it alone.

Join batyr for an engaging session featuring a lived experience story of a young person sharing their journey of mental health challenges, what helped them along the way (and continues to help them to this day!)

You'll hear honest insights, hopefully connect with shared experiences, and learn practical ways to actually implement wellbeing strategies.

From managing stress and staying connected, you'll leave with realistic tools you can put into practice straight away. And hopefully have a laugh along the way.

No matter what you're studying, we'd love for you to join us. 🐘💛

FAQs

  • What is batyr?

batyr (pronounced buh-tier) is a preventative youth mental health organisation that aims to spark life-changing conversations, amplifies lived and living experiences of young people, and empowers students to take charge of their mental health.

batyr partners with tertiary institutions, delivering peer-to-peer mental health education programs for students and staff, student-led events and student volunteering opportunities.

And if the blue elephant rings a bell but you're not sure why, we did cause some commotion at Swinburne by bringing global attention to youth mental health and our partnership through our Regional Voices Workshop, attended by Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. So I guess we're kind of a big deal (and very humble).
