Changing the Story: Launching a new mental health program for international students
Come along and learn about how batyr are supporting international students' wellbeing. 2020 has been a challenging year for many international students with uncertainty causing higher levels of anxiety and loneliness within the community. Through listening to and working with international students batyr has created a program to support international students' mental health and wellbeing and are ensuring their voices are heard. Â
Join batyr, in partnership with Meld Community, to launch our new batyr@uni International Student Program supported by Study Melbourne:
- Learn about batyr, who we are, what we do, the International Student Welfare Project, and why this project is so important to batyr.
- Hear about the development process of our new batyr workshop and how we worked with international students to co-design a program that speaks to their hope, positivity, and resilience.Â
- Listen to an international student batyr speaker, share their help-seeking journey, and how they navigated the Australian mental healthcare system.Â
- Experience elements of our new batyr@uni International Student program.
