Unplugged - No Phones. Silent reading party hosted by Gertrude & Alice & Bondi Beach Babes

We believe in a world where we are so digitally connected, there is time needed to connect back to the basics and come off of our phones. 

Gertrude & Alice and Bondi Beach Babes are coming together to host our very first no phones 'Silent Reading Party' hosted by our Guest Host, Lea Nesdale, Founder of Bookish app.

What is it? 

• A chance to disconnect digitally, reconnect with a good book, a glass of wine or cup of tea and some good company in Bondi's only bookshop/ café. 
  

What will happen? 

• You will leave your phone with the trusted staff at Gertrude and Alice on entry. 
• Bring your favourite book or purchase one in store. Grab a drink ( wine, tea) and if you fancy some snacks from Gertrude and Alice. 
• 30 mins of silent reading - no phones. 
• 30 mins of talking if you would like to or you can carry on reading if you prefer
