BBF Catch-up and Takayna Screening
Event description
The Forest Roadshow is coming to Brisbane! Join the Bob Brown Foundation team for an afternoon of connection, conversation, and film at the Food Connect Shed.
We’ll begin with an informal gathering where you’ll hear updates on BBF’s campaigns to end native forest logging, protect takayna/Tarkine, end krill fishing in Antarctica and protect Tasmania's waterways from toxic salmon. It’s a chance to meet others in Queensland who care deeply about the environment and learn how you can get more involved in this growing movement.
You will also get a chance to view our most recent film: Takayna - the Heart of Lutruwita – a powerful film about one of the last wild places on Earth and the campaign to protect it.
📅 Date: Sunday 12 October
🕒 Time: 5.30 to 7pm
📍 Location: Food Connect Shed, Brisbane
This event is free and open to everyone. Bring a friend and join us for an inspiring evening for forests, wildlife, and climate.
