Event description

Don’t miss your chance to shape the future of New Horizons! Join us for a lively feedback session with New Horizons host Vaughn Bennison and BCA CEO Deb Deshayes. This is your opportunity to dive into the heart of our weekly radio program and Podcast, and share your thoughts on what’s working and what could be even better.

New Horizons commenced broadcasting in 1982 on 3RPH in Melbourne. The original presenter, Neville Kerr, presented the NFBCA Radio Program for 24 years and since then, the program has had several presenters. Largely, it has followed the same format – a 15-minute program with a feature interview and often, some additional pieces of information thrown in for good measure.

Is this a valuable format for today’s radio audience? Is this the way BCA members still want to be informed and entertained?

What about extending the program and bringing in some additional features, Additional voices and ideas? Is New Horizons still of value to BCA, its members and community?

Your feedback will help us fine-tune the program to better serve your community. Be part of the conversation and help us make New Horizons even better.
