BCG Evening of Guitar: Peter Doublinszki and Solstice Guitar Duo

The Brisbane Classical Guitar Society presents an Evening of Guitar music, featuring local guitarists Clancy Anderson and Dominic Ward in the Solstice Guitar Duo, and our visiting artist Peter Doublinszki.

Peter Doublinszki is a Budapest-born concert guitarist with a rich musical background, known for his refined classical foundation and deep curiosity about diverse musical traditions. Dedicated to both classical and jazz, Peter has over two decades of experience as a performer and educator. He has appeared as a soloist and chamber musician across Europe, Australasia, and Southeast Asia, performing at major festivals and concert halls. His performances reflect a distinctive musical voice shaped by classical repertoire, Hungarian folk traditions, and jazz. Improvisation plays a central role in his artistic approach. Drawing from a wide range of musical influences, he weaves spontaneity into structured works, creating programs that are both dynamic and deeply expressive. Whether performing traditional pieces or original arrangements, Peter brings intellectual depth, emotional engagement, and a sense of discovery to every performance.
