BCGS Art & Tech Workshop Series - Paint by Nature
Event description
Spend an idyllic few hours painting by nature, under the instruction of an artist renowned for her botanical masterpieces, Jenni Doherty! Her highly sought after work has adorned the walls of some of Australia's most prestigious galleries and homes, and her trademark mixed-media style incorporates lino block prints, acrylic, gouache, silver or gold leaf, oils, paper and textiles. We're thrilled to have Jenni with us for the Art and Technology Workshop Series!
What is involved?
In a workshop designed for all skill levels, Jenni will guide participants in developing their own masterpiece over three hours (with a break for morning or afternoon tea, of course!). Using botanicals sourced from our beautiful campus as inspiration, you will first draw then paint your own unique artwork, learning technique tips and tricks from Jenni along the way. All materials, including a canvas and paints, are provided.
This workshop runs for 3 hours. Maximum of 10 participants per session, suitable for ages 15 and above.
Where is the workshop held? In the Secondary Art Rooms at Bunbury Cathedral Grammar School
What is provided? All materials, tea, coffee and morning tea
What to wear:Â Please wear clothing that can get dusty/dirty/painty!
