About the Speaker
Dr. Neil Bretaña is an award-winning innovator and leader in the field of biodesign with a distinguished career spanning over 15 years across multiple continents. With a PhD in Public Health, a Masters degree in Bioinformatics, a Bachelors degree in Computer Science and a post-graduate certificate in biomedical design and innovation, Neil combines expertise across various disciplines.
Throughout his career, Neil has held executive positions at two healthcare start-ups, served on the board of a health-related non-profit organization, and has been an active member of the Biodesign Asia Pacific association. Neil is a prolific author with over 25 journal publications and a sought-after speaker with over 15 international conference presentations to his name.
Passionate about improving public health through advocacy and education, Neil is a visionary who combines technology, health, design, and innovation to drive positive change in the sector.
