Hey dykes (and dyke-adjacent) 🫶

Welcome to BDE (Big Dyke Energy) Barbell Club - a social functional bodybuilding session for sapphics, focused on getting built and taking up space 🦖. We're not here to shrink, snatch waists or curve booties 🙅‍♀️🍑. Programming for capped shoulders, big backs, exposed abs, strong glutes, thick thighs and popping forearms 😮‍💨.

WHAT TO EXPECT

💪🏼 Masc/Andro-leaning body recomposition + a bit of sapphic-specific endurance 👀 (yes, unfortunately, there may be some cardio)

🏋️‍♀️ Bodybuilding, CrossFit and HYROX elements → predominantly functional bodybuilding focused

🔥 Rx (advanced) and Foundational (beginner) options programmed

⏰ 1.5hr session → expect AMRAPs, EMOMs and partner workouts + a Challenge

👭 A social session, not 1:1 coaching → we train alongside you and keep an eye on things

🤸 Worth having a little training experience first → total beginners can book a 30 or 60 min intensive with Sarah beforehand

🌈 Equal parts queer social event and lifting session → lax, respectful, and here to celebrate sapphics lifting heavy shit

RULES

❗ Leave your ego at the door. Respect and teamwork. Everyone under the sapphic umbrella is welcome. Zero tolerance for homophobia, racism, sexism - no warnings, you're just gone

❗ All BDE members help with setup and pack-down

❗ Guided social session - come at your own risk; this is not a personal training session - but we are here to support you. Sessions are set-and-forget: coaches program, set up, then jump in with you

❗ Tell a coach beforehand if you're carrying an injury or anything we should know about

❗ Respect the gear and the space

❗ 18+ only

❗ Your ticket is your spot - no unbooked plus-ones on the day. Jump on the waitlist if it's booked out - or shoot us a message.

❗ We sometimes take photos for socials - tell a coach if you'd rather not be in shot, no questions asked
