Travel instructions
CAR: RACV Cape Schanck Resort is located approximately 2 hours drive south of Melbourne. The fastest route to the resort is via the Monash Freeway, taking the EastLink turn-off to Frankston and then following the Mornington Peninsula Freeway to Rosebud. From there, turn into Boneo Road and follow it for about 10 minutes to reach the resort, where there is plenty of free parking. For a scenic route, follow the Nepean Highway to Mornington, before turning onto the Esplanade and follow the coast to Boneo Road. From here, the resort is a short drive. TRAIN: Take the Frankston train line to Frankston from the Melbourne CBD. From Frankston embark the 788 Portsea bus to Adams Avenue, Rosebud. We would then recommend opting for comfort by taking a taxi or booking an Uber from the bus stop to the resort. FERRY: Searoad Ferries, Australia's favourite car and passenger ferry, connects the Mornington and Bellarine Peninsulas and is a great alternative to the drive through the city, on toll roads and through city traffic. Two all weather ferries depart on the hour, every hour between 7am - 6pm from Sorrento Pier and Queenscliff Harbour.
