How People with Disabilities Access Digital Content (AT Demos) Part 1

Seeing how people with disabilities access digital content is a great way to understand the challenges they face when content is not accessible. Do you know how blind users view web pages, navigate websites, and understand imagery? Do you understand the various tools deaf and hard of hearing users need to comprehend content that contains audio? Have you seen the challenges that people with mobility impairments often encounter when accessing digital content?

Join us on Global Accessibility Awareness Day (GAAD) to learn what it means for digital content to be accessible, view real users demonstrating their interactions with digital content, and the accessibility tools (AT) they use daily.

Learner Objectives

Participants will learn how people with disabilities access content and several of the accessibility tools they use.
Participants will be able to identify at least 3 strategies to ensure the accessibility tools work well for their published digital content.
