Be a Year 7 for a Day - 2 or 3 December 2024

Dear Parents and Guardians of Year 7 / 2028 students

We are very excited to invite your daughter to be a Year 7 for a Day at Iona Presentation College on either Monday 2 or Tuesday 3 December 2024.

Your daughter will have the opportunity to:

• experience a range of activities in the areas of Science, Foods, Digital Technology and Drama
• activities in our Solais (Senior School Library)
• exploring our vibrant campus, and
• meet our staff and other students

To ensure your Year 3 daughter feels comfortable and enjoys her day, we will assign a Year 7 student as her buddy, who will happily greet her upon arrival and make her feel right at home.

Here are the details:

Time: 9.00am - 2.30pm - please arrive at 9.00am for a 9.15am start
Venue: The Forum (located inside the Sister Albeus Fahey Building - please refer to the map included in the email)
What to bring: Morning tea, lunch, water bottle and any necessary personal items in a small backpack
What to wear: Current school uniform with closed in shoes (sports uniform is recommended)

Tour for Parents
If you have not previously toured the College Senior School Campus, we would like to offer you the opportunity to join us on a tour of the campus. The tour will take approximately 45 minutes and will commence promptly at 9.15am.

This is a much sought after annual event, so please reserve your place as soon as possible. Places are limited.
