Event description
New Essential Safety Measures (ESM) and Duty of Care Compliance Management System
After several months of developing a tailored ESM and Duty of Care compliance platform with Bastion Systems, we are excited to announce the launch of Be Safe.
Be Safe is BUV’s new system to help churches manage ESM and Duty of Care requirements. We highly appreciate the active participation of 12 volunteer churches (small and big) as a Pilot Group, as well as the support of Baptist Insurance Services to complete the project. Trial use of the system and “live” sessions provided opportunities to give feedback and comments. The project team discussed each piece of feedback which helped us understand how to improve navigation and sharpen language and terminology.
To help with the roll out of Be Safe, we will be holding one hour long training and on-boarding sessions to equip churches in managing their ESM and Duty of Care requirements. The training sessions will be virtual via Zoom, and will also be ‘hands on’, so please bring your certificate of occupancy or maintenance determination of your property to the training. Multiple sessions will be available each day and churches can select their preferred date and time for a session. Each session is limited to ten people so that we can provide as much individual support as possible, so sign up early.
We have the following sessions running during the month of November:
- November - 15th @ 9:30am, 15th @ 3:30pm, 16th @ 9:30am, 16th @ 3:30pm
- November - 22nd @ 9:30am, 22nd @ 3:30pm, 23rd @ 9:30am, 23rd @ 3:30pm,
