Be You Louder Live: Find, Build, and Tell Your Story
Description
The one-day live communication experience for founders, leaders, and executives who want to be remembered after they step off stage.
It is rarely the person in the room with the best ideas who gets heard. Confident, loud talkers often win short-term attention, but building true authority that lasts long after the presentation ends requires a completely different skill.
Confidence is what people see after you already know what you are doing. Clarity is what gets you there. Whether your stage is a boardroom, an investor pitch, a high-stakes keynote, or a difficult conversation, I will teach you how to turn your deep subject-matter brilliance into a clear, magnetic delivery that drives real results.
I built Be You Louder around one idea: improve your communication, improve your life. I've coached college debaters to national titles, taught communication at the college level, and tested every framework I teach under about as much scrutiny as it gets.
By the end of the day, you'll have a crafted story ready to share.

My whole world changed 21 years ago today.
I was wearing an Element Skateboards hat sideways on my head with the bill turned up toward the sky. I wore Osiris puffy skate shoes and my pants were baggy, but I had recently started wearing them above my ass.
I sat down in a community college classroom on the promise of free pizza. Then I forgot about the pizza because the fiercest gay man demanded undivided attention at the front of the room. His eyebrows were perfectly plucked, because he wanted to highlight his eyes. He knew his eyes could control people. It wasn’t until years later that I learned that this was intentional. He made you believe in yourself with those eyes. He helped me see a version of myself that I hadn’t ever seen. And his vision for my future was clearer than my own. Oh, and he taught me how to win national championships in public speaking.
Eventually, I came back to that same college and took his job. I didn’t know how fun it would be. I became the coach that had perfectly plucked eyebrows and made students believe in themselves. I refined the craft of seeing versions of people they didn’t know were there. I have taken seriously the art of clarifying visions people have for their own future. I have found the greatest collaboration of joy and fulfilling purpose exist when I’m sitting with some one I care about and helping them craft a narrative that better serves them. Then watching them say it out loud, and seeing how their life radically improves.
Just a few weeks out from my 40th birthday and I can’t think of a better way to celebrate than getting to do more of that. And after 10 plus years as a communication coach, 21 years hyper-focused on the art of communication, I want to bring in this next decade with people who want to take control of their narrative.
Simply put: I cannot wait to see you all on October 17th!
It’s going to be an amazing day of celebration. We start exactly as you’d expect: breathwork on the beach, and looking at our stories with a calm nervous system and the ocean breeze. Taking time to slow down, and set our orientation not just for the moment, but for whatever our next chapter might be. Afterward we fill our bellies with some food from some of my favorite restaurants on the famed Abbot Kinney BLVD. Then we make our way over Moss Collective, an oasis with character, tailor-made for story building. We’ll stand and deliver, but only after we’ve unlocked new levels of creativity, and combined that with structure to make sure our stories stick. We finish with some amazing stories, told by one of a kind story tellers, and then the party begins.
I got word today that four of my favorite artists are going to be stopping by to force us to shake some ass. They are all world-class, and I’m really excited for you to experience them. We might even convince them to do a little tea ceremony before bed.
Inspiring. Fun. Growth-oriented.
See you soon.
