Event description

Walk Against Violence

Join us at Queenscliff Lagoon (next to the playground) on an Orange Walk to Shelley Beach and show solidarity with those impacted by violence. The Walk includes a brief speech at the halfway point at the volleyball courts, followed by a ceremony at Shelly Beach to remember the women and children whose lives have been tragically lost to domestic and family violence this year.

  • 9:00am - Opening at Queenscliff by the Lagoon.

  • 9:45am - Brief speech at Volleyball courts, North Steyne.

  • 10:30am - Ceremony of recognition for women killed in 2025 at Shelly Beach                         

 

The walk is led by Zonta and Rotary Warringah. Please wear orange to show your support!
