Who am I?
I am passionate about learning and development. have qualifications in psychology, adult learning and teaching, human resources, and coaching. My experience covers human resources, learning and development, facilitation, continuous improvement, leadership development, and coaching individuals and groups. I’m accredited in the Emotional Culture Deck, Social Style Model and Belbin Team roles.
I’m an experienced leader, so I have tried everything that I share, and learnt from making mistakes. I’ve managed teams including hybrid teams, teams where I haven’t been the expert, and project teams. I’m also very experienced at leading through influence and advocating for positive change.
I love learning and I am always reading and researching leadership and personal development. I enjoy sharing the latest thinking in these areas. I extend this learning to my personal life and I’m currently studying online instructional design, te reo Māori (an ongoing journey), and tropical fish keeping.
My passion is supporting individuals and groups to grow and thrive and be the best they can be in life. I do this with respect, empathy, and kindness, with a bit of fun thrown in. I work to create a safe and inclusive space for everyone.
I’m pragmatic and always encourage the people I work with to share their insights and experiences and think about how they can apply what we cover in workshops to their day-to-day lives.
