Sustainability Week - La Trobe University
Explore all living species on campus and its surroundings and register observations on iNaturalist. There are exciting prizes for the top 3 people who observe the most species!
3rd prize: 5 plants from the Nangak Tamboree Wildlife Sanctuary
2nd prize: framed botanical artwork by Carly Altree-Williams
1st prize: a dinner for 2 at The Big Esso (max spend of $150)
How it works:
- Download the iNaturalist app (available on Google Play and the App store)
- Create an account
- Join our project on iNaturalist to be in the running to win a prize for most species observed!
- Get outside and take photos of living things on Thursday 21st MarchÂ
- Upload your sightings via the iNaturalist app
Anyone is eligible to take part in this event. Whether you head out for a full day of making observations in the bush or just record the spider living on your ceiling. It all counts!
Important: For observations to contribute to our project (and to your species total), they must be taken within the Nangak Tamboree project area. You can see a map of this area on the project page.
