    Panellists

    Dr. Don Carter, Associate Professor and Head of Discipline in the Education Department at UTS, specialises in innovative writing techniques across subjects to boost student performance. With extensive experience as an English teacher, department head, and ESL consultant in southwestern Sydney, Don also served as an English Inspector at the NSW Educational Standards Authority.  Don’s leadership influenced the English curriculum in NSW schools, leading the development of the current English K-10 Syllabus and creating the HSC English Studies course for Year 11 and 12 students.

    Dr. Keith Heggart, Course Director of Master of Teaching in Secondary Education and the acting director of the Centre for Research on Education in a Digital Society (CREDS). He has a wealth of experience as a high school educator, particularly through his leadership positions in high schools across both government and non-government sectors in the UK and Australia.
