Come along to this funding strategy session where you can upskill and refresh your knowledge on best practice fund-seeking strategies, processes and examples, that will help increase your funding success and sustainability.

In this workshop we will cover:

  • A simple framework to map out your funding request.
  • Different funding options relevant to your organisation and how to prioritise these options.
  • Funder expectations and accountability reporting

This is an entry level session ideal for Managers, Trustees and Fundraisers from grassroots and community based not for profit organisations.

NB: This webinar will draw material from Therese’s previous two sessions in her Future Proofed Funding and Funding Options for your Organisation training sessions that were delivered in previous years.

Presenter: Therese Lanigan-Behrent

Therese is a capacity builder and funding specialist who has varied experience supporting community groups, social enterprises and values driven organisations with training, strategic advice and operational support as an Independent Consultant. She brings a grounded and practical understanding to support organisation’s further their mission through establishing robust planning frameworks, powerful storytelling and strategic funding support.

Therese’s experience in the sector as a funder (Vodafone Foundation, Lottery Community Auckland and Auckland Council), Grants Specialist, Senior Marketer and Sponsorship Manager (for ASB, Vodafone & Jucy), has given her invaluable knowledge of what it takes to engage funders, secure funding streams and build a sustainable organisation.

In a voluntary capacity, Therese enjoys coaching not-for-profit organisations with their crowdfunding endeavours through her work with The Funding Network.

Refund policy

NOTE 1: Cancellation for training courses. Please be aware that we require two working days’ notice if you wish to cancel your registration. If you cancel after this time payment is still required. We may (at our discretion) provide a credit note to be used for other training courses within twelve months of the original course. NOTE 2: Should a course, due to Covid-alert level conditions nearer the time, need to be postponed or moved across onto Zoom, we shall advise nearer the scheduled date, with as much notice given as possible. NOTE 3: A refund will be made but will not include the booking fee amount which was part of the session cost that ANCAD paid when the ticket was first purchased.
