Therese
is a capacity builder and funding specialist who has varied experience
supporting community groups, social enterprises and values driven
organisations with training, strategic advice and operational support as
an Independent Consultant. She brings a grounded and practical
understanding to support organisation’s further their mission through
establishing robust planning frameworks, powerful storytelling and
strategic funding support.
Therese’s experience in the sector as a funder (Vodafone Foundation,
Lottery Community Auckland and Auckland Council), Grants Specialist,
Senior Marketer and Sponsorship Manager (for ASB, Vodafone & Jucy),
has given her invaluable knowledge of what it takes to engage funders,
secure funding streams and build a sustainable organisation.
In a voluntary capacity, Therese enjoys coaching not-for-profit
organisations with their crowdfunding endeavours through her work with
The Funding Network.
