BECOMING MYTH : Storytelling Around the e-Fire Vol. I

Becoming Myth is born from the belief that in order for humanity and ecosystems to thrive, the blooming of modernity must be rooted in learning from the keys within tales and humble land listening. 

Storytellers from around the world will feature in each session, sharing tales that reignite the magic and possibility of humanity rooted in our bodies, earth and stars.

Events are online, stories are less than 20 minutes, afterwhich listeners and teller alike are invited to share their reflections on the tales and how they are mirrored in our life. All stories will be recorded and sent to ticket holders.

Join us for the online telling of a powerful Greek myth that delves into the destructive nature of greed and the insatiable hunger of humanity. 

Witness how one man's disregard for the divine and for nature leads to his ultimate downfall, in a story that still resonates with timeless themes of excess, punishment, and the fragile balance between man and the world around him.

*The Storyteller*

Anatolia Nephila is a lover of folk and faerie stories, myths and magic. Her focus of study is the intersection between ritual, nature activism and art. Born to migrant Pontian-Greek parents raised on the Wurundjeri land of Melbourne, now based in regional France, Anatolia’s relationship to the myths and spirits of the various lands we walk on and the land of the body we walk with, informs her work.

She is the fire-seed initiator of ‘Becoming Myth’.

Becoming Myth is founded upon the idea that everyone, irrespective of financial situation, should be able to wander through the wild forest and come upon a fire with storytellers who tell tales for the love and mystery. This is why we offer the option to donate whatever amount suits you to support the storytellers and the vision of Becoming Myth to reach the hearts and souls of humans around the world.

This event will take place online on Sunday 24 November, 2024 at 11.30am Paris, 19.30 Melbourne, 10.30am London.
