Bee Bonanza
Event description
🐝 Be a citizen scientist and get to know our precious pollinators!
We will be joined by Associate Professor Tanya Letty from the University of Sydney, who will tell us all about bees and their pollinator friends.
We will hear about what pollinators call Penrith home, we will use iNaturalist to be citizen scientists and record our findings, and we will get experience using the app by going on a walk through Grey Gums Reserve to see what’s there.
Each participant will receive a free Native Bee Field Guide.
We will also have a yummy morning tea.
What do I need to wear and bring?
• Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy closed-in shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.
• Bring a bottle of water.
