Bee Bonanza

🐝 Be a citizen scientist and get to know our precious pollinators!

Join us and learn all about what pollinators call Penrith home. We will use iNaturalist to be citizen scientists and record our findings, and we will get experience using the app by going on a walk through the Reserve to see what’s there.

Each participant will receive a free Native Bee Field Guide.

We will also have a yummy morning tea.

This will be followed by a weeding activity to help improve habitat for our native bees.

What do I need to wear and bring?

•         Wear long pants and a long-sleeved shirt, sturdy closed-in shoes, a hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen.

•         Bring a bottle of water.

The event is open to everyone with and without Bushcare experience. Children must be supervised by an adult.
