Bee Queens - workshop 2 2025
Event description
Workshop 2 is all about bee hardware - the hives, the frames, the making. We will be joining STBA Vice President, Ross Gordon in his Crabtree workshop to learn how to use the tools and jigs that make this inevitable beekeeping task possible.
You are invited to bring your own frames or hive boxes along - but if you don't have any there will be plenty available for you to practise on.
For those who are interested, we will drop into the Honey Pot at Grove afterwards to look at the observation hive and look at the equipment, honey and other bee related items for sale.
It can be very cold in the workshop, please dress appropriately and if you have steel cap boots, please wear them.
