Bee Sanctuary Compost Hub Launch Party
Event description
Come along and help us with the installation and launch of a new community compost hub, located at the heart of Auckland central! We are setting up our state-of-the-art Carbon Cycle compost bins at the UoA Bee Sanctuary. You are warmly invited to come take part in the installation process, to help flatten the ground with mulch, and to ask experts as many questions as you like. Make sure you slip (in some protective clothing), slop (on some sunscreen), slap (on a hat) and bring covered shoes! 🐝
We would also love for you to save up your food scraps and/or any garden waste, grass clippings or cardboard to bring to the event so you can see how the compost process is going to work! 🥕🥬 As an extra little thank you for your attendance and support, we will offer all event attendees a one-month FREE subscription to our compost drop-off service, this way you can see for yourself how quick and easy it is to make an impact on papatūānuku! ♻️🍀
