A Hive of Activity: Our Beekeeping Journey
Environment House
Bayswater WA, Australia
Description
Two years ago Chris and Robyn Brown, from Serpentine, embarked on a project to harvest their own honey, setting up 2 hives. With a large organic flower and vegetable garden, surrounded by 5 acres of spray free pasture and a large variety of mature trees, including Marris, it seemed like a fun thing to do.
Find out what they have done, what rules and regulations need to be followed, what equipment is needed, how much they have harvested and the ups and downs for these amateur beekeepers!
This workshop is proudly brought to you by Enviro House and the City of Bayswater
