Beerfarm Presents: The BUGIC Grant Prix - Adult Slip n Slide Competition

Just over 4 years ago, the father of one of the Beerfarm crew was diagnosed with an extremely rare and aggressive form of cancer called Biliary Cancer. He was originally given 3 months to live, but through expensive and intrusive treatment, he has outlived this original timeline and is still kicking goals, 4 years on. 

From this, he started a Foundation called BUGIC (Battle Upper GI Cancer), to help raise money for people that aren't in the financial situation to afford treatment as well as the little things in life generally taken for granted. You can read all about it on his website www.BUGIC.org.au

Through the art of slipping and sliding, Beerfarm hopes to provide a platform for BUGIC to reach people, build awareness, and also some money for people battling this horrible and aggressive form of cancer. We hope to amplify this message to the people by creating a fun environment, whilst creating a call to arms to anyone that has ever uttered the sentence… “Why is the slip n slide only for kids?”
