Beethoven on Bruny

In our final concert for 2026, the DSO is catching the ferry to Bruny Island! Our concert will be in the Alonnah Community Hall (School Road in Alonnah) on the 29th of November at 2pm. We will be conducted by William Newberry and we will feature soloist Cristina Sigrist.

The concert will open with the Magic Flute Overture by Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart (K. 620), before the inspiring Cristina Sigrist takes the stage as a soloist performing Salut d'Amour (Love's Greetings) by Edward Elgar supported by the DSO strings. After intermission, we will conclude our concert with Symphony No. 5 by Ludwig van Beethoven.

For this concert, we have reduced ticket prices for all adults at $10, children/under 18s are still for $5, and we have also introduced a family ticket for $25.
