Beethoven String Quartet Project #4

The Cygnus Arioso String Quartet Project returns in June featuring Beethoven’s Opus 18 no. 4 alongside music by Debussy and Caplet, for which we are joined by guest harpist William Nichols.

Beethoven’s offering is one of timeless elegance, each note unfolding delicately as if a brushstroke on a canvas of emotion.Debussy’s

enchanting Danses for Harp and Strings weaves ethereal lines of harp through lush string harmonies to captivating effect.

And Caplet’s Conte Fantastique, a hauntingly evocative piece inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's "The Masque of the Red Death” will transport listeners to the realm of fantasy and the macabre.
