Event description
The Robotics Beginners 1 course is a series of 90-minute workshops run over the course of eight weeks.
Course dates are: Wednesday Oct 13th, 20th, 27th, Nov 3rd, 17th, 24th, Dec 1st.
This course covers the basics of programming the Arduino microprocessor using Ardublock, a "drag and drop" interface. Basic digital theory is included in the course. Participants build and program a project each week to understand how to control an Arduino, and to inspire them to create their own inventions.
No previous experience required. No age limitations. (Parental attendance expected for participants under 12yo.) Participants require access to a computer with Zoom capability and preferably two monitors. Kits for the course can be borrowed or bought from Techspace Learning.
