Event description

We’ll have fun learning the basics of painting a colorful watercolor winter scene and Christmas beach scene.
We'll then turn the paintings into a mini framed ornament that you can hang on your tree. No experience required; all levels welcome.

Ages 16+

Alyssa Ruggieri is the owner and artist at ALR Designs. She is a watercolor artist who draws inspiration from years growing up on the Cape. Her pieces are created for you to love and love to share. Anything from serene landscapes, to whimsical sharks, framable greeting cards to unique custom shell art. Her hope is to create memorable keepsakes for everybody.

Alyssa currently paints, designs, and prints all of her own greeting cards and art prints. Drawing from inspiration and resources also on the cape, she creates an ongoing series of original paintings called the “Shell Ladies”. These are a modern interpretation of shell art, and feature original watercolor paintings with seashells meticulously formed in the place of their garments. She loves creating pieces that inspire, and just make people smile.
