Beginner Shamanic Travel

This beginner class respects and follows Michael Harner's (founder of the Foundation for Shamanic Studies) transcultural shamanism techniques which use shamanic drumming to enter into what shamans call "non-ordinary reality". There are zero substances involved. From there, students will learn how to safely and responsibly connect with the spirit realm - where ancestors and spirit animals are readily available and willing to support us by offering their clarity, insight, and powerful energy on questions and situations that we's appreciate some help in. 

Catherine Brown has two decades of experience working in these realms and has studied closely under Gerardo Roemer from the Foundation for Shamanic Studies (he is the head of the Latin America region for the foundation). She has also lived and practiced with multiple indigenous communities in the Brazilian Amazon. She is a professional shamanic healer through her business Spirited in Grand Rapids, Michigan. 

This class is practical and applicable - as well as fascinating and fun. No experience needed, just an open mind to your world getting much, much bigger than you ever maybe thought possible.
