Beginner Ukulele: Chord Picking with Steph (Online)
Event description
If you've picked up the humble ukelele before, you'll likely be familiar with strumming. It's the simplest way to produce smooth chords. Many people sing and accompany themselves on the ukelele simply by strumming along.
But did you know there are more options?
Strumming is fun but fingerpicking is way more interesting! As an alternative to strumming, fingerpicking reveals a chord in different ways - note by note, rather than the all-at-once of strumming - which is interesting musically AND for our fingers and brains!
This fun class welcomes brand new players and established strummers - all are welcome.
