Beginners bookbinding workshop

Learn to create a unique handmade journal in this 3 part bookbinding workshop at the Teecreate Studio

You will master the art of using two different bookbinding techniques as well as making a hardcover for one of your books.

In this 3 part workshop you will learn the ancient art of Coptic bind stitch and the decorative French link stitch and how these binds are used together to create one journal.

The books are very versatile as they lay flat when open so they are perfect for sketchbooks, journals, scrapbooks, water colours, art journals, daily diaries and much more.

To cover your beautiful book you will create hard-covers for the journals with papers of your choice to make your journal special and unique.

Your tutor Tracey will guide you through the 3-hour session, providing all necessary materials and tools, so you can focus on exploring your creative energies.

By the end of the workshop, you will leave with a beautiful handmade journal that showcases your newfound skills in bookbinding.
