Beginners Guide to Pruning (online)
Event description
Pruning is easy and fun when you know how, but understanding why, when and how to prune is important. In this workshop, you’ll skill up in all the basics so you can get started pruning right away. Learn how to improve plant health and maximise fruit and flower production as well as how to choose the right tools for the job and keep them in good condition.
This online workshop will run from 6 pm to 8 pm.
The session will be held via Zoom. Participants will receive login details prior to workshop.
Trainer bio
Carol Henderson has had many years working as a primary teacher, community development worker and horticulturalist, and combines these three passions by running school garden programs with Cultivating Community and facilitating adult workshops at CERES. Drawing garden wisdom from permaculture principles, conventional horticulture and chats with elderly neighbours, she loves sharing her enthusiasm for everything connected with growing and learning in natural environments. Carol is studying a Master of Urban Horticulture at Melbourne University (Burnley) majoring in urban food production.
