Travel instructions
Public Transport: You can catch the train and exit at the Adelaide Railway Station. From here you can catch the free tram to either the "Rundle Mall" stop on the Glenelg line or the "Art Gallery" stop on the Botanic line. Both are a short walk to the event building from there. Alternatively, you can look at specific bus schedules and stops which will stop close to Rundle Mall. You may wish to consider parking on the fridges of the city and using public transport to access the city from there especially if you are concerned about costs for parking. Bicycle and Scooter/Motorbike: There is bike parking where you can lock your bike in front of our building in Gawler Place. Alternatively, you can discuss storing your bike inside the building for the duration of the event with the host. For Scooter/Motorbikes there are all day free parking spots on our side of Gawler Place between Grenfell and Flinders street which are a short walk away from the venue. Car Parking: There is limited untimed or non paid street parking nearby. You may have some luck on Pirie or Flinders street but we urge you to please carefully check all signage for timing and if it is paid etc. Alternatively, there is paid parking on Hindmarsh Square but these options are a bit of a walk away from the venue. If preferring paid undercover parking close to the venue we recommend checking the pre-booking options for the best price. The Wilson Adelaide Central Car park and UPark Gawler Place are both close to the venue, but please note that the UPark Gawler may have limited places for booking on the day. The Wilson can be booked ahead of time easily on their app and generally you can book for multiple hours at a reasonable fixed rate if you book ahead. The lifts in the Wilson are a bit annoying at times and this car park has quite small spaces unfortunately so be advised if you have a large or wide vehicle.
Entry instructions
Entering via Rundle Mall: You will find our side of Gawler place by the infamous metal Pigeon Sculpture! Also where the Nespresso store is on the corner. Once heading down our lane way we are partway down. Our building entrance is located in between the National Pharmacies and the Paradigm Arcade. The Arcade is on the ground floor of our building. Our entrance is the Glass Sliding Door entrance with colourful signage on the front with "Rundle Collective Studios". There should be clear signage on the day to assist you, the artist possibly at the entrance to help guide you. If you have any difficulties do not hesitate to contact the artist on 0459 946 479 or ring our doorbell on the outside of the building.
After entry instructions
Once you have entered you will see a hallway - head straight to the end and through a slight door on the right to find the elevator. Once you have located the elevator head to Level 3. There will be a door straight ahead of you which access the main studios. Once entering that door our event space will be on the left. If you are struggling to find the event space you can ask any of our friendly resident artists in the studios.
Hazards
There should be clear access at our front door all the way to our elevator for anyone with a mobility device or wheelchair. There are no steps to the entrance. There are accessible walkways throughout the studios with clear access to all facilities. The building uses bright overhead lighting - if this may be a sensory concern on the day please reach out to our team so we can adjust the lighting as needed. We also generally have a fairly quiet working studio environment, however, there are working tool noises and the event may have some noise. If needed we can make some arrangements for noise considerations. Additionally, there are a few quiet casual couch areas in the studios if any attendees are needing a sensory friendly break away from the event space at any time.
Toilet location
Toilets are available on all levels of the building (levels 1, 2, and 3) apart from the ground floor. Once exiting the lift there is a hallway - to the right on each level this hallway leads to accessing an accessible bathroom and a standard bathroom both equipped with all amenities.
Accessible parking
1 accessible car park space may be available in front of our building in Gawler Place (please note this is often already in use) Multiple accessible car parks may be available in the Wilson or UPark - please note that you may be able to access subsidised or free accessibility parking at the UPark by enquiring online. Additionally there is another accessible car park on the opposite side of Gawler Place in front of the UPark Gawler Place. Additionally there are 4 accessible car parks on Hindmarsh Square but please note this is a short distance from the site.
