Beginning your journey into Entrepreneurship Education (K-12)
Event description
Two years ago, Damien Meunier knew very little about Entrepreneurship Education and what it could look like in the K-12 space. He now leads a thriving entrepreneurship program at one of Australia’s largest and most progressive independent schools. In this interactive session, Damien will share how he started on his journey to becoming an entrepreneurship educator & leader. Damien will also share his favourite resources for getting started and show how you can join the growing community of K-12 entrepreneurship educators across Australia.
Damien is passionate about helping students (and teachers) develop the entrepreneurial mindset, skillset and toolset they need today to thrive in an uncertain tomorrow. He is an innovative leader and teacher, having taught in both the public and private sectors here in Australia and overseas, as a generalist teacher, Computing specialist and most recently as an entrepreneurship educator. In 2021, Damien was an Excellence Awardee in the Australian Education Awards, for his work as Head of Entrepreneurship & Learning Partnerships at Haileybury in Melbourne.
