Event description

Adolescence is a time of big social shifts. Friendships play a powerful role in shaping identity, wellbeing and decision-making.

This practical and engaging workshop will explore the emotional world of teenage girls, including:

  • How friendships influence mental health and self-esteem

  • The impact of peer pressure, both online and offline

  • Navigating difficult friendships

  • What healthy autonomy looks like in the teenage years

  • Strategies to help your daughter set boundaries, make wise choices and stay true to herself

  • How parents can stay connected and supportive in this space.

 

Parents and carers of students in Years 7–12 are warmly encouraged to attend. A live Q&A will follow the presentation.
