Behind the Scenes: GIB Site Tour and Sustainability / Tech Presentation

Visit an icon of the industry, and NAWIC Platinum Sponsor, Winstone Wallboards – GIB®, and get a glimpse of what lies behind the paint. John Jameson and Arama Black will take you through a crash course of sustainability, product stewardship, and highlights of system performance. Catriona Strong and Clara Sumner will share GIB®’s commitment to women in the industry and changes experienced over 30 years of getting it done. All wrapped up with nibbles and networking to finish.

The experience will include:

• A brief history of manufacturing since 1927, the focus toward product stewardship, sustainable manufacturing, delivery, and waste recovery in the construction industry.

• Explore at a high level the key aspects of fire performance, noise control, bracing, and wet area performance systems, and the little tricks in detailing, specification, and installation.

• Hear the People and Performance Manager Catriona Strong on women within our business. And Clara Sumner, the National Sales Manager, with insights and experience having worked her way up through GIB® over the past 30 years.
