BEHIND THE SCENES, ROYAL BOTANIC GARDENS, VICTORIA AT MELBOURNE
GGOP members and friends are warmly invited to join the Royal Botanic Gardens landscape architect, Andrew Laidlaw, for an intimate behind the scenes glimpse of Melbourne’s much loved gardens. Enjoy an exclusive opportunity to visit Andrew’s design office, the historic sign room and nursery works yard, along with an inspiring tour taking in the new city gates and rejuvenated grey garden, the perennial border in full bloom, the unique white oak project, calming sensory garden and the breath taking lotus blooms on the central lake.
Includes light refreshments served in the Lakeview Pavilion with time to mingle together and catch up with the GGOP team.
When: Thursday 3 April at 5.15pm
Where: Park in Alexandra Avenue and meet at City Gate at 5.15pm ready to walk at 5.30pm. Walking Tour is approx. 1.5 hours. Medium fitness required.
