A Sue Healey film about Jane Mortiss - a dancer, artist, naturalist and farmer - battled mental illness through her art. This is the story of her last work.

Still Breathing are a company of three dancers are exploring dance theatre at the other end of life, Chrissie Koltai ,78, Anca Frankenhaeuser, 79, and Patrick Harding-Irmer, 81, with their long, varied and successful professional careers. Our work is driven by living memory, pain of loss, loving and the sense of slowly disappearing. In ageing the line between memory and dreamscape can be narrow, sometimes non-existent.

Sue Healey is a Sydney-based choreographer, filmmaker and installation artist. She was the Australia Council Award for Dance winner for 2021. Her work is witnessed in a diversity of contexts and spaces; galleries, public spaces, cinemas and theatres. She has created large scale public art projects and films and regularly works in the Asia Pacific region, most recently with her portrait series On View, produced by West Kowloon Cultural Precinct, Hong Kong, Aichi Arts Centre and Red Brick Warehouse, Yokohama, Japan 2016-2020). The installation works ON VIEW: PANORAMA and Panoramic Suite were shown in Asia and Australia 2020-23. The 3 channel film installation ICONS was recently shown in Sydney Festival 2024.
Her short films have won many international awards, most recently an OPUS KLASSIK in Germany - Best Music Video 2023
